Child Passenger Safety
PCHD has several National Child Passenger Safety Technicians who are highly trained and available to give you one-on-one instruction on how to properly use your child’s car seat at absolutely no charge to you.
Ohio Buckles Buckeye (OBB) Car Seat Program
- The Ohio Department of Health’s child passenger safety (CPS) program, Ohio Buckles Buckeyes (OBB), provides child safety and booster seats to eligible low-income families in all Ohio counties. The overall goal of this program is to increase the availability of child safety seats for families who could not otherwise afford them and to increase the correct installation and proper use of child safety seats.
- Seats available include front-facing, rear-facing, and booster
- To be eligible for the OBB program, you must be a resident of Paulding County and meet specific eligibility guidelines.
- Appointment consists of educational video and hands-on installation instructions and proper use. Allow 45 minutes minimum for an appointment.
